STICS: Mapping Census 2000 Tool

Last updated: 01/16/2009

Introduction

The goal of the Spatial Trends in Coastal Socioeconomics (STICS) website is to increase awareness and access to socioeconomic data by providing multiple tools to analyze and generate reports. In one easy-to-use application, STICS offers georeferenced demographic data from the U.S. Census Bureau for the last four censuses (1970, 1980, 1990, 2000) and Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) data (1969 to 2000). The types of data accessible include population, age, racial and ethnic composition, income distribution, residential mobility, personal income, and employment data.
