Partners
HD.gov cannot exist without the cooperative efforts of all the partners and individual contributors who support the portal by providing content, resources, and financial support. Partners come from federal, state, and local agencies. These pages include information on some of these contributors to the Web portal. This information includes general information about the partner, select projects, and activities. if you are interested in becoming a partner, please e-mail us at partner@hd.gov.
Role of Partners
This Web portal is run by an expanding group of partner agencies and organizations. Through a serious of committees, the partners coordinate the acquisition and development of content, review of content for accuracy and appropriateness, and posting of content to the Web pages. The partners also oversee the updates, revisions, and modifications to the Web portal.
By working together as a team, all organizations and agencies provide their unique strengths, insights, and expertise, allowing the HD.gov portal to derive benefits that would not be possible if the portal were developed by a single entity or a smaller group.

Bureau of Land Management (BLM)

The Forest Service was established in 1905 and is an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The Forest Service manages public lands in national forests and grasslands, which encompass 193 million acres.
